Ridgeline Clinical Education: An Interactive Workflow System

Explore how scheduling, preceptors, clinical sites, readiness, evaluations, and reporting connect in one clinical education workspace.

Switch between 40 fictional student, preceptor, faculty, coordinator, and site administrator accounts. Try a rotation request, log a learning activity, write an evaluation, or update capacity. Connecting the clinical education workflow

I designed Ridgeline to explore how a clinical education system can connect people, requirements, and decisions across a rotation. Shared identifiers link learners, sites, preceptors, capacity windows, placements, evaluations, and follow-up tasks. Role views show how the same workflow looks from different perspectives.

The demo applies scheduling and readiness checks, keeps proposed placements separate from confirmed capacity, and routes learning entries and evaluations through review steps. It also includes academic records, an hourly calendar, agreements, and operational reporting.

This public version runs with a fictional dataset in each visitor’s browser. Role switching demonstrates the design; it does not create real user accounts. Institutional integrations, official grading, and production clinical record management are outside the scope of this portfolio demo.
